En Passant Digital is a Web3 strategy company founded by a former professional chess player. At Butter Studio we built a custom website design and brand identity to make it easy for potential clients to quickly understand the value EPD delivers to their clients. We broke down their value propositions into key components, reframing jargon around NFTs into easy-to-understand messaging. On the visual front, we were inspired by the company’s roots in chess and developed the user interface design to reflect the grid of a chessboard: a series of squares that move dynamically as the user discovers what EPD can do for them. The overall result keenly focuses the user’s attention on what EPD can do for their businesses and conveys a sense of credibility and expertise through design.
